Where and what is Bendooley Estate?
Bendooley Estate is a 200-acre rural estate in the Southern Highlands of NSW. More than two centuries ago, Bendooley Estate was part of a large tract of land granted into private ownership by Governor Lachlan Macquarie. Today, the homestead is renowned for its cellar door and restaurant, and has evolved into one of the Southern Highlands most desirable estates.

How do I get to Bendooley Estate?
We have organised a coach to take guests to and from the wedding from the hotels we have suggested on this site. If you stay in another accommodation close to Bowral or the surrounding towns, you can drive to Bendooley or catch an Uber or taxi.
Can I bring my partner or a plus one to the wedding?
We are keeping our wedding intimate, and unfortunately, we cannot accommodate additional guests beyond the invited list. We hope you understand and look forward to seeing you on our special day!
Can I bring my child/children to the wedding?
Due to limited space, we can only invite the children of family members. We appreciate your understanding and hope you can join us for the celebration!
Is there a dress code?
Yes, the dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
If the weather is favourable, the ceremony will be held outdoors, with the reception to follow indoors. However, in the event of wet weather, our ceremony will be moved indoors to ensure everyone stays comfortable and dry. Regardless of the weather, we're excited to celebrate with you!
What time should I arrive at the venue?
For the best experience, we ask guests to arrive by 3:30pm. This will give you plenty of time to settle in before the ceremony starts at 4pm.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so that we can fully enjoy the moment and ensure a smooth experience for everyone. We'll have a professional photographer capturing the ceremony, and we can't wait to share the photos with you afterwards.
Can I take photos and videos after the ceremony?
Of course! And we would love to see them too!
What should I expect after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, the immediate family of the couple and the bridal party will be taking photos around the venue. During this time, we invite all other guests to enjoy a cocktail hour in the reception venue, where canapés and drinks will be available.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes, there will be an open bar for the evening featuring a selection of wine (from Bendooley Estate), beer, soft drinks, juices, tea, and coffee. If you would like other types of alcohol, please feel free to purchase them.
Where do you recommend I stay?
For your convenience, we have listed some recommended accommodation options on this site under 'Where to Stay'. These options are suitable for your stay; however, there are also other choices in the nearby towns of Mittagong and Moss Vale.
Will transportation be provided to and from the wedding venue from accommodation?
Yes, transportation will be provided! A bus will be available to pick guests up from the hotels we have suggested on this site and take them to Bendooley Estate. We'll ensure everyone has a safe and convenient ride throughout the day.
Is there parking available at the venue?
Yes, parking will be available on site. Just follow the signs and instructions provided at the venue upon arrival.
Do you have a gift registry?
Thank you for asking! We've decided to have a wishing well at our wedding. If you would like, you can make a contribution to the wishing well, which will be greatly appreciated; however, your presence and well-wishes are the greatest gifts we could ask for!
What is the best way to RSVP?
The best way to RSVP is through our wedding website. Please use the form provided and let us know if you'll be attending. If you have any special requests or dietary restrictions, you can also include those details in the form. We kindly ask that you RSVP by the 19th September 2025.
